Timothy M. Burke has been actively persuing photography since he was 13. Growing up in Fairfield County, Connecticut, Tim witnessed the beauty of nature through all 4 seasons, and the Sea. Although he considers himself to primarily be a Fine Art photographer, Tim has had experience in documentary, humanitarian, sports, news/events, and portrait photography. He considers digital and any other capture methods just "tools", and does not favor one or the other. He uses a Nikon Digital SLR System, Manual Focus 35mm SLR's and Rangefinders, Mamiya RB67 and Hasselblad Medium Format, and a 4x5 view camera, depending on the desired result. Digital post-processing is done on a MacBook Pro, running  Adobe Creative Suite 3, including Photoshop CS3. His black and white work is mainly shot on film, and then hand-processed and printed in a custom darkroom.
